Anatomy of a Trucking Case – Rapid Response and Use of Cameras in Claims Handling and Litigation.

The immediate response to and investigation of accidents involving tractor-trailers is paramount to defending against potential claims. A detailed and thorough rapid response provides the company with early knowledge of the facts and allows it aggressively approach potential claims. Knowing the strengths (and weaknesses) of the claim from the outset provides the company with the unique opportunity to maximize the strengths and undercut the weaknesses. In-cab camera technology is a vital part of the rapid response effort and, more often than not, provides the company with the clearest picture of the accident.
