KMCA Scholarship opportunity open to all who want to pursue a career in the trucking industry

Are you a recent graduate or making a career change? You can and should apply for the Kansas Motor Carriers Association Foundation Scholarship. It’s not too early to start considering your plans for the 2021-2022 school year.

Drivers, dock workers, mechanics, office personnel, etc. are among the thousands of people each day who contribute to a strong, efficient transportation industry in Kansas. Many of these individuals are seeking advancement in a transportation related endeavor through education. The Kansas Motor Carriers Association Foundation would like to help some of these students in their efforts by providing scholarships to those seeking higher education (college, community college, vocational/technical training) in a transportation related field.

There is no age limit for applicants.  However, you must be attending school full-time, 12-hours per semester whether it’s a four-year university, community college or trade school.  Applicants, including previous KMCA Foundation Scholarship recipients may apply each qualifying year.

Scholarship recipients will be selected based on their academic achievement, community involvement and financial need. Scholarships may be used to meet such expenses as tuition, books, and housing.

What you need:
