Morning Session Yvonne Glover with NIC Federal LLC:

“NIC Federal manages the Pre-Employment Screening Program (PSP) on behalf of the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA).  PSP allows employers of commercial drivers to access drivers 5-year crash and 3-year inspection histories during the pre-hire process.  Drivers records come directly from the FMCSA Motor Carrier Management Information System (MCMIS).”

During our presentation’s members will learn how to best use PSP to identify driver safety trends that help companies hire great drivers.

The presentation will provide these key takeaways:

    • How PSP helps motor carriers evaluate driver applicants
    • Getting the best value from the PSP report
    • Getting a robust view of the driver through accessing information in the PSP and state motor vehicle records
