Renewal Information:

NEW: KMCA members should now request renewals via email at registration@kmca.org for faster service. A small convenience fee applies and will be billed after the service is completed.

Please send all renewal requests to registration@kmca.org—not to individual staff members.

Renewals:

The 2026 Renewal Season opens December 1st, 2025, and closes on March 1, 2026. 

During this time, Kansas Motor Carriers Services experiences extremely high volumes of requests. Please plan ahead and submit your information as early as possible. It can take 5 business days before a staff member is able to begin working on a request. 

Save Time:

If you come in person, save time! Before you come, be prepared and check that you have the appropriate documents:

• Updated MCS-150
• Proof of Insurance
• 2024-2025 2290 – Heavy highway use tax
  (if applicable)
• Lease agreements (if applicable)
• USDOT Safety Responsibility Statements
  (if applicable)
• UCR through 12-31-2025
• Signed Invoice (only if you do it yourself)
