Legislative Day in Topeka
The Kansas Motor Carriers Association legislative dinner and social was well attended on Feb. 21, 2011 by members of the House and Senate leadership as well as members of both Transportation Committees.
The event was held at the Top of the Tower. At the restaurant, many KMCA members, Kansas Road Team Captains and KMCA staff sat down with legislators to enjoy dinner.
KMCA was pleased that so many of the invited guests were able to attend the event. This annual event is an opportunity for KMCA members to get to know the legislators who shape transportation policy for the future of the state and for the legislators to hear firsthand the ups and downs of the trucking industry. Thank you to those who were able to join us.
